4/22/06 - The
next essay in the Harry Potter series is up. This time it's Twos, featuring Hagrid, Molly, and Umbridge.
3/29/06 - There's a new essay up about the long-neglected Ones, in this case, a group of Ones from the
Harry Potter books.

7/4/04 -
- We have a guest essay: In response to my article on Smallville's Lex Luthor, a reader contributed an interesting take on Jonathan Kent as a counterphobic Six parent.
- Also, it's about time I wrote something about Ones. Who should it be? Go here to see the possibilities I'm considering, both Star Trek and other, and vote for who you'd like to read about next. The winner will be my next essay.
- Finally, a couple of additions to the non-Trek miscellany page.
5/27/04 - I'm adding a new section to the site! For those times when non-Trek inspiration strikes, this will be a collection of enneagram essays related to other sci-fi/fantasy worlds. Find the section
here. The inaugural essay:
Lex Luthor on Smallville.
2/25/04 - There's a new essay on
Damar of
Deep Space Nine. Also, there are a few changes to the Non-Trek enneagram
miscellany page, including some ideas on
Harry Potter characters.
3/2/03 - Fours, fours, fours: The newest essay is about
Garak on Deep Space Nine. If that's not enough Fours for you, you may want to check out my
new article for the Electric Enneagram about the Fourish-ness of the world of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel." Finally, I designed an enneagram logo to put on T-shirts and other fun stuff that you can buy at the new
Enneagram Shop. Check it out!
1/25/03 - My friend Maria gave me a fabulous Christmas present: My very own domain name. From now on, the official address for Star Trek & the Enneagram will be
www.enneatrek.com. Thanks, Maria! (Check out her website for Kate Mulgrew and "Tea at Five" at
www.teaatfive.com.) And thanks to Noah for continuing to host Star Trek & the Enneagram. Another update: The Non-Trek enneagram miscellany page has been revamped, and now includes "Buffy" and "Angel" characters.
5/23/02 - The first essay on the Three style is about
Dr. Julian Bashir on Deep Space Nine.
2/23/02 - I've made changes to the
main list added a few characters from TOS and Enterprise, and moved some people around. A major change of mind is that a reader convinced me that Janeway is a One. So the essay on
Voyager's Two now only about Neelix. Now I have to write about Janeway all over again! Also, please note that the site's url has changed: It's now at
http://home.kc.rr.com/nsturr1/index.html.
3/17/01 -
At long last: Q! Also, after much debate, a friend finally convinced me that Garak is a Four, not a Three. So I made that change in the
main list. And a reader offered the suggestion that Joe Carey is Voyager's Three, and I agreed and made that change as well.
9/20/00 - Instead of writing something for my own site, I got distracted and wrote a piece on
Oscar Romero for Clarence Thomson's
Electric Enneagram newsletter. Now that I've got that out of my system, I'll take on Q soon. Really!
7/10/00 - At long last,
Kes.
Fury sort of put me off the task, but eventually I got over it, at least enough to write the essay. Next stop: Q! (No promises as to when.)
5/11/00 - I had been searching for that perfect
Four quote to go with the essay on Voyager's Doctor, and the excellent episode
Life Line provided me with one. Plus, in that episode, Dr. Louis Zimmerman showed his Five colors more clearly than he did in
Dr. Bashir, I Presume. So on he goes on the
main list.
3/20/00 - The next Voyager Nine:
Harry Kim. I don't plan to write about Kes until after her upcoming guest appearance.
3/15/00 - Pictures from a Star Trek
convention in Kansas City, Mo., that I attended last weekend.
3/1/00 - Too many Nines, all of them opening credits folks! I finally decided to deal with Voyager's Nines in more manageable chunks -- one character at a time. The first to be finished is
Chakotay. And speaking of too many of any given type on one series, I added Eddington and Weyoun to the stable of Deep Space Nine's Threes on the
main list. Indeed, where would DS9 be without their Machiavellian machinations (or Julian fretting about various ganglionic nerves)?
2/28/00 - An addition to the non-Trek miscellany list: an article I wrote about
John Lennon for the Spring 1997
Enneagram Educator. Back to Star Trek soon. I swear.
2/21/00 - I'm still working on those elusive Nines of Voyager, but in the meantime, I put up a little list of
non-Trek enneagram miscellany, just for fun.
2/2/00 - An essay on a few of
Voyager's Eights -- Seven of Nine, Seska, and guest bad guy Tieran.
1/10/00 - There's a new essay on Tuvok and Lon Suder,
Voyager's Fives. It includes some musings on enneatyping alien cultures and a little bit of Spock.
1/2/00 - The latest essay is on Tom Paris,
Voyager's Seven. Also, after I saw
Meld the other night, Lon Suder, everyone's favorite serial killer, joined Tuvok in the ranks of Voyager's Fives on the
big list. An essay on those two will be forthcoming.
12/30/99 - There's a new essay on
Voyager's Fours. Also, some new stuff was added to the
links page. Happy New Year!
12/24/99 - At the moment, everything is new! But in the future, this will be the place to see what essays have been added, so let's direct you to the very first essay, on
Voyager's Twos. Enjoy!
