| Charlotte is enjoying kintergarden. She is
doing well with her letters is starting to want to know how to spell
everything. She has just started swimming lessons. |

| Charlotte is really coming into her own. She
really loves to dress up (cheerleader, princess, etc). She has picked the
color of her room (Enchanted Princess pink). She is about ready to turn
five and move into kindergarden(!). She has had several play dates with
her friends (Samantha and Ella). |

| I did not forget about Charlotte now that she
has a new sister. She is still growing like a weed (38 inches last month)
and learning more and more. She is starting a new day care (a Montessori
one) next week due to the current one closing down. We are progressing
really well on all things training and loves Dora the Explorer and Blues
Clues (not to mention the occational Jimmy Neutron). |

| Charlotte is a talking (and demanding) girl,
starting to use the potty, and sleeping in "a big girl bed". And she has no
clue that a brother or sister is on the way in four short months. She still
thinks SHE'S the baby. There is not much to say this time. While four
months have progressed since the last update she has done not much more
than learn a ton more words and sentences. She is becoming very independent
(and will banish you to the kitchen if she wants to be alone) and becoming
more affectionate. She still plays more with the boys than the girls at day
care (or by herself) and like herself her hair is still a force to be recon
with. |

| Time for another update. She is 35 and half
inches and 27 lbs (not much growth in the last three months). However her
words around now about 200 to 300 and starting to be with a few word
sentences ("I'm Charlotte", "My daddy", and "Big hug"). At times she'll
rattle off a string of something and look like she requires a response. She
has a slight aversion towards other cars on the road ("No cars!" or "No
trucks!") and can be a bit aggressive with other kids who have toys she
wants. Other than those times she is a doll and very cute (although I told
her she was a cute once and she said "No, I'm Charlotte"). We (and at times
it is a bit like the royal "we") now like movies like "Cinderella",
"Wallace and Gromit", and "Toy Story"). |

| Time sure flies. Again, another 5 months since
the last update. We have just passed her 2nd birthday. She has just moved
up a grade at daycare and is with the 2+ year olds. She is 24 lbs (around
20th percentile) and 35 inches (around 90th percentile). Her words are
around 40 or 50 but still are not really distinct. Which, of course, leads
to confusion (for example: where "cla-cla" is "cloth", "cal" is Dexter's
collar, and "ca" is clothing). Other times their origin is a complete
mystery ("ya-ya" is cereal). We are touching upon a bit of biting (joy) but
also hugs and kisses (joy!). |

| Okay, okay. It has been a while. Partially the
move, partially the fixing of the new house, mainly being lazy. Charlotte
is a ball of energy. Just past 18 months, she is 32 inches tall, climbing
on everything, can unzip zippers, get past baby latches on cabinets (!!!),
and beats up the boys at day care (only girl in her class). She has more
words under her belt (she promptly renamed all the animals at the zoo as
"bebe", we're not sure on this) and loves to tell the dog "no" while
wagging her finger. Now that she has her own room, she sleeps through the
night without a problem. |

| Well we have had changes since the last set of
pictures. We are walking nearly 100% of the time now, and everywhere. We
can climb on chairs and the futon (uh oh) and can get off them. While we
are not really speaking, we are saying more of not much. "Mo" for more (or
just something she wants). "Ba" for ball. She can wave good-bye (although
not all the time and not when people are actually leaving). She is doing
wonderfully at day care. |

| One Year Old! Wow - does time fly. She is
walking fairly well now - about five or more good steps. More teeth. Eating
real food. And about ready to start day care! Soon she'll be learning to
talk (still on the "ma" and "da" and "ba" but not really associated with
anything). Thank you to all who came to the birthday celebration or sent a
gift or card! She was not sure what to do with presents at first - but by
the end she was a seasoned pro tearing things up. Thanks to grampa for the
shots while I was busy. |
